I just started modding on XBC and i cant figure out how to make a grenade throw like a wraith or hog out. theres nothing in the weapons section for them so i dont know how to swap projectiles for them.

another thing is how do u make the target aquiring distance for the sword longer so you could lunge from the opposite side of the map. every time i change the distance it gets reset.

1st :
if you use dothalo, select weapon/frag grenade and go to dependencies.
then, after you did that, click the [proj] tag in dependencies and at the top select [vehi]. then select the warthog from the list. hit save changes and your done!

2nd: i consider this as cheating (since you said u were xbc modding) so i won't help you with that.

for the rest: have fun & don't cheat please.

2 ways

1. meta offset swap (what i do and no one else can see)

2. depandancy swap in dothalo which from what i hear makes people see the projectile

actually since v1.1 wont let you use the sword rocket glitch anymore i was hoping i could just make the sword do it so that u can still lunge to other ppl when your glitching. but ya watever man

it fixed that shit so if ur using 1.1 u wouldnt be able to do the extra sword lunge.

modding on xbc isn't really cheating depending on the mods XBC has its own server for modders and thats what i use i also do fun mods not what you consider cheating mods

errr... modding on xbc isnt a bad thing... neather is modding on xlink.... its only bad if you mod on xbl

btw, open dothalo, go to globals (matg) open the dependancies, there will be ONLY 2 proj tags, one is for frag grenade, one is for plasma grenade, swap the Proj- whatever\whatever\plasma grenade with Vehi- whatever\whatever\warthog

i no about modding and stuff and i have dothalo but their is nothing in it.For example i type in weapin the tags spot but nothing comes up.Can some one help me and tell me what to do.O and how do u Ftp to your xbox?help me pleaze.thanks

did you try opening a map?

1. Id go with saber's idea.
2. You shouldnt be typing in any "weap", you just scroll down and select it.
3. If your confused on FTPing, im guessing saber was right about the "you havent opend the map yet" theory.
