HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Hi, I just recently started the halo 2 mod stuff. I have a modded xbox, have FTP access and all that jazz. I have uploaded Halo 2 CE and enjoy it very much but I am trying to add the map descention but am running into some problems. I have the .ppf and descention.map. I patched descention.map with the .ppf using pff-o-matic 3. The readme then told me to patch my main menu with the mainmenu.ppf but warns me i will loose all my other maps because I already have a patched mainmenu. So avoided that and dropped it into my maps folder and it did not show up. I assume I need to do something with the mainmenu but I dont want to loose my Halo 2 CE. What can i do to load this map? thanks.

Just name it as Acension.map (or however its correctly spelled) it will load up when you try to load the regular acenioncion.

yes, I have read that I Can do that. but is there any way i can have it added with all my other halo maps?
