See, Halo 2 programs like to lie alot. When your extracting the Bitmap using Dothalo, look at the DXT format its in, at the RAW DATA window.
-Just because it says "Error, must be DXT 2" doesnt mean its DXT 2.

Yes but are you getting an error screen when you try to reinject the bitmap back into the map?

Easy Plan.
-How To Extract and Inject a Bitmap (By Me)

Step 1: Open Dothalo and scroll to the Bitm tag
Step 2: Find your Bitmap you want to edit.
Step 3: In the Raw Data Editor (where you can see a picture of the bitmap), look at what DXT the file is in.
Step 4: After looking at the DXT, Extract the Bitmap. (a good idea is to rename it with the DXT number infront so you save with the proper DXT, Example warthog_standard.dds would be 5warthog_standard.dds if it was DXT 5)
Step 5: Edit as you see fit
Step 6: Hit Save, and save it
Step 7: When it asks what DXT to save it in, look at the DXT it said in the Raw Data Editor Window.
Step 8: Click on Inject in Dothalo, and find your Bitmap
Step 9: It should say that it was done injecting the bitmap.
Step 10: Finished!
---------------------
Things to look out for
-If the bitmap is Internal, you can edit it, and reinject it and play it. If it is External(Main menu/Shared/Single_player_shared) you have to find a program called Bitmap Internalizer. Search the files forum.

Sometimes, lets say the Bitm is a DXT 5, and you save it as a DXT 1, it might say "Error, this must be injected as a DXT 3. Then you save as 3 and it still wont work. So thats why you always check in the Raw Data Window.
