Download Maps onto HD

Is it possible to download old maps onto your harddrive (stock) without actually downloading the entire halo2 disc? if so does anyone have a tutorial?

if your xbox is modded just put the halo cd into the xbox and grab them with an ftp program

Ok i got all my maps , just my old maps on my HD + comp..
If i want put a .serenity patch on Foundation , i would do that - then where wold i put the map?
In consideration its loading from a disc..

i dont know how to make the disc load the map off you hard drive, i seen somthing onit somwhere.
