Connecting PC to XBOX

I used smartFTP -
In my address bar i put my xbox IP
I put my xbox password and username
And this is what it said ..
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

Im also connected through a router - what might the problem be?

have the xbox on, ( it has to be modded )
dont have a game in

Wow it doesn't worked, failed..
Modem connected to router - Then from router to XBOX and computer

SMC Router - thiss is very frustratingg !

Dude i have unleash x its very simple some how u must not have it plugged in or something recheck all wires.
