effe colors

Ok, does anybody know what causes the banshee bomb detonation effe tag to be green(or any other effe tag that has a different color). It isn't the particle tags. It is the effe tag itself(as I changed the particles to other effects since I am trying to get some nice looking explosions going and it still was green).

I tried going into insolence and changing random values. Didn't seem to do anything.

So, any help would be appreciated.

the effe tag prolly has a bitmap associated with it

theres 2 things that make it green.

goto proj and the banshee bomb under dependancys here are the 2 things

ligh - effects\objects\vehicles\banshee\banshee_bomb
cont - effects\objects\vehicles\banshee\banshee_bomb

now i would like to note that the cont doesnt make the thing green but gives it a green tail.

No...I didn't mean the proj. I am not using the proj. I am using the projectile's detonation effe tag for something else but that green explosion keeps getting in the way. Oh well...maybe I'll try using a different effe tag.

nm its the effe its self

it depends on what proj your modding, for example if you change everyting on the charged morter its still gonna be blue.
you have to skin the bitmaps associated with this to change the color

No I said that I'm nor modding the projectile....just using the banshee explosion effe tag for a different reason than a projectile.
