I have seen tutorials on replacing the smg with a long barrel by extracting the 3D file i was wondering if its possible to extract the Master chief model too for 3ds max

Yes it is possible you need Dark Matter though so you can inject the new model. People like me make 3d renders with mc from his halo 2 model we just extract it with ADI.

where can i get dark matter
i checked the fiels forum and found a "broken one" is that the one or did he finish the project and is there a fully working app that i can get

Yes that is the one. It is broken one because he gave everyone the source code so they can edit the prgram but he also ended the project and released the prgram. Just download i and then search for a model injection tut.
