build a halo 2 map

So how do you recompile a halo 2 map. I mean, where do you start? Is stripping a containment, rebuilding models in 3ds, redo physics, ect. the best way to go? I want to make an entire new map without just reskinning, and putting new weapon models in. But there is no HEK For Halo 2. Can this be done?

BSP Conversion is the only way i know to make a completey new looking map yet alot of hex is involved but u can try this.
Open any map have a back up for in insolence then open any sp map u weant the bsp from find the bsp u want then drag it over to your map then in the SCNR change plugin to swapper find the bsp dependancy and swap it out i doubt it will work yet its worth a shot
