HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I am not really sure if there is, or was a post about this topic but i need help. The posts that i was reading refered to people modding thier own maps then putting them back onto there xbox. What I need to know is how to put maps that other people have made or moddified, onto my box. I tried putting it on then loading up the game (not from the disc) but the moddified maps where not there. Can someone tell me where i should ftp the maps or what i should do before i ftp the maps.I need to know anything that would make them work.

k first most of the things u download are .ppf files they are patches they patch to the map what u want to do is transfer the map that the patch goes with to ur computer then run ppf-o-matic and use it to patch the map then use a signature fixer to fix the map i sugest TF6 one then ftp it bak to ur xbox copying over then old one and there u go if u have problems add me to ur msn ill help u there
