HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I was trying to change the mastercheifs skin and i got it to work no problem but when you stand at a distance the mastercheif truns completly black, when you stand close to him you can see the skin as it should be, whats causing this, and if anyone could tell me how to fix it would be a big help, TIA


btw, i extract the mastercheif skin with Ch2r then change it in photoshop. then inject it back in to the mainmap.map. and ofcorse resign the map. it shud work

That happens to me too sometimes, even if its just things like shader swapping. Maybe delete cache? or does it have something to do with the _bump.dds files

i would recommend to delete your cache, and if that doesnt work then try to internilize the bitmap and erase the cache again, that should work
