HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ok, I have a softmodded xbox with the evox dashboard. I also download dvd2xbox-068-src from xbins. My question is do I need to just copy the unrar-ed folder into my apps folder on my xbox and then run it with the halo 2 dvd in or do I need to add some kind of file into the dvd2xbox folder.? I'm new to this, I'm sure I'll be back with more questions.

Note: I'm only using the xbox stock harddrive. If this is posted in the wrong section please let me know.

That still leaves me confused, I heard you can't put the entire halo 2 on the stock hdd, but how I just put the files I need on. Can I just do that with ftp or not?

i got all of Halo 2 on my harddrive. i deleted everything else lol

If you can use dvd2xbox to get it on there then thats good just delete all the campaighn maps when done *on your harddive*

or if you can't do that FTP all the maps over to your computer and delete the bink files and campaighn maps. FTP the other things etc.

its just as easy to upgrade your xboxs HD... theres tutorials all over the net on how to do it. It doesnt take very long. And its worth it. because then you can add as many games as your drive can handle where the original drive can only hold 1 or 2 games tops... and if youre doing halo 2 that will probably fill the drive

Ok I'm doing the ftp method as we speak. So let me get this straight, I don't need to copy the bink files and I can delete the campaign maps. That I get. Now do I just copy my Halo 2 folder into my games folder on my hdd or do i need to add some file in with it(eg. default.xbe)? Also do I need 00a_introduction.map. I don't which that is and it is a huge file.
