Possible to do this?

Copy the Halo 2 data from the disc onto my computers harddrive. Upload it to my xbox and mod the game from there? All without a mod chip.

argh! Yes, Softmods and Hardmods can both be used to acheive modding hence the MOD in softMOD and hardMOD.
(sorry to sound a little mean but everyone asks these questions)
