How do you add a Dependency?

Post by Synergy2069 »

Does anyone know how to add an extra dependency to a weapon tag? Like if you look at the rocket launcher, you'll notice it has 2 proj dependencies, thats what I mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Santamaycry, just stop posting. You give wrong and bad advice and in this case, I don't know why you even posted.. A guy asked fro a NO auto-aim mod, and you called him a cheater. Synergy2069, to add more dependecies you need to hex edit. and by the looks of it you won't be doing that. You can try glitchy's chunk adder. that might work. if not I'll might make you a plugin for it.

Tarzan: What exactly do you mean by, "and from the looks of it you won't be doing that?"

I did try the chunk adder and in dothalo it seemed to create 2 extra jpt! nulled out tags (because I added 2 chunks). In insolence, the name was set to unused and I couldnt change it, and I don;t know if it wont work because of that. Neways, I just changed the tag type to proj, and just swapped out the projectiles to 2 diff ones. Im going to see if it worked now. I would appreciate it if you made me the plugin for it. Thanks

What I wanted to do was make it so I can fire a weapon and have it spawn the resupply crates with weapons attatched to them like you can in single player. I wanted to have 3 crates spawn with 3 different weapons, so I though the only way to do that was to have the weapon fire 3 different projectiles at a time. In order to do that, I figured you would have to add dependencies to the weapons, hence the reason why I asked how to do that.

I found out in my other thread that I would not beable to get the crates to respawn with a weapon, unless anyone else has any other ideas or suggestion?
