Newbie Modder, help please?

Hey there. Havn't posted here for quite a while... long while at that. But, I've been starting to think about making mods for Halo2. Can someone, in detail and fully explain types of mods, effects, examples of some ect.

What do I need to mod? how do i do it? are there any GOOD tutorials out there? any tips for a newbie Halo2 modder? I used to do mods for Halo PC/CE, is that worth anything?

Id really appreciate it. and if i use these mods or make mods of these types will i get banned from MM? is there anyway to avoided getting banned from MM but still use these mods in online custom games? any and all info would be VERY much appreciated.

DarkBolt, you can't expect people to guide you for everything. There is plenty of information scattered around the forums you can look into. Use the Search feature. And if you need utilities, maps, or mods go to the files forum (files.halomods.com).

ok, now normally im not one to argue over forums... esspecially at moderators.... but im not expecting to be "guided" for everything... i havnt been here since Halo:CE, i have no where to start, and i didnt expect everything of what i posted to be answered.... just at least give me some ponters.... jeez, what a warm welcome back....

There is no need to lock, he wants some pointers, not everything is explained in tutorials. Go to www.xbox-scene.com to get started. Thats all you had to say excailbur.
