Hex Editing Dot Halo Map Modding Help

Hello i have recently been trying to edit the warlock and turf maps for halo 2. I have every program made for this (i think). Everytime i edit anything and then sign with either dothalo or encryptomatic signature, i get the "failed to load map" error. However i noticed i can change the battle rifle damage from 6 to 166, if i change it to anything else it fails to load map, but that works and it kills em with 1 shot of the BR. I just dont understand why I can change that and nothing else. Is there a patch i can remove to be able to mod maps (was it something i got in in the XBL auto update)? Also whenever I go to the globals to to edit jump and speed, the program or its plug-in crashes (this is ch2r, dothalo, h2x, ADI, Insolence), They all crash when loading mtag. I have even tried swapping dependicies with ch2r and still failed to load map. Please help thanks, i am very good usually at figuring out computers i program perl and a little c++, so a little help will go a long way. Thanks.

you need a special program to encryt the new maps with out balancing them
and when you do get the program dont use dot halo to encrypt them it just screws them up

you have to use a regular resigner before you can encrypt it with the same signiture

No, you dont.
i just tested, yes you do..

the way mine works, it Xor's the encryption you gave it, then swaps the numbers, then inserts into the map, and resigns

if u dont give it a new encryption, then its gonna have the wrong result
