Increasing Water

How would I increase the water in a map, preferably Relic. I really need to know how because its the main part in the new map Im making. If someone can post how or AIM me it would be really appreciated and I would give you credit when making my mod.

sorry dude, thats bsp editing (editing the map in a 3d editor like 3ds max.) so you'll have to wait for promethus.

it was done along along time afo in that floodlong(or whatever it was called) mod for headlong.

hes talking about increasing the level of water. Just like the flooded headlong map.

someone may have just edited the bitmap for that flooded headlong. either way i'm not quite sure.

let me set this strait. People did not edit the BSPs on floodlong, underwater midship, or anything like that. They simply edited a bitmap. If you want to figure out how to do it then compare floodlong and headlong.

o and i didnt realize this post, promethios wont be able to edit original BSPs, just make tags out of the current ones or make tags out of BSPs that you have created. Thanks - Nate

that sux man. i really wish we could mod the old h1 levels into halo2. that would rape! what about the halo1 maps people made? could there be a way to rip those into halo2?

he said no because ripping is illegal dumbass, and you dont know how so who cares if he PMs you, you would need the bsp editor made by glitchy and jeff who decided not to release cuz of all the ripping

its completely impossible to make a Halo1 map into a Halo 2 map.
They are both completely different. Think about it. Its all from the shared.map , banshees and extra vehicles. and alot of stuff. :roll:

you would have to extract the bsp, then inject the bsp into halo 2, then since its just a BSP, there are no spawn ponits for anything, you would have to add all that yourself

I Find this topic very entertaining. I am not sure any of you know what you are talking about. mb nate does. On the water question Nate is right, the bsp is not editable, however thst SBSP is. So yeah you could probably move the water up a bit, not sure how though myself.
