Shooting grenades using dot halo

i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make the grenades shoot instead of just following out of the gun using dot halo .
Ok first of all this must have been answered more than 10 times on this site.
What you do is open the gernade you want to shoot out and change the enitial speed. easy
