Describe the steps you do, from modding to FTPing.

first i mod the map the way i want to, then i save changes, close map (using dot halo), then i goto FlashFXP and FTP to E:>Tdata>4d530064>$C>4D53006400000003>then swap it with the map i modded.....then i load halo 2, then Fails to load map

There's your problem. You need to fix the encryption of the modded map, and when that's done, you need to resign the map with a map resigner. Fix the encryption before you close dothalo, and resign the modded map after.

hey dude where u put the maps in the tdata folder u have to sign the contentmeta.xbx with a signer that can sign other than .map files. I hope this worked.

Hmm, so the whole procedure is this: You mod the Map, then fix the encryption (All in dot halo), close dothalo, load up the resigner, select begining of string table, do what the prompts tell you to do, and FTP it to your xbox. Right?

OK! It looks like you are new to modding the halo 2 maps. Its not as hard as you think, there are many good tutorials. But your best bet it to stick with PPF files there not as good as custom mods but they do the trick. Go to www.r3voluti0n.com they have good PPF files and an outstanding tutorial on how to mod the maps. **Dont use the sanctuary PPF File, you will fail to load the map**

I was having the same exact problem. You need to sign the map with the ORIGINAL SIGNATURE. DotHalo does not sign it with its original signture. I downloaded a Mod pack from the insolence forums that was created by xxANTMANxx. It came with a nifty tool for resigning maps with its original signature. They now work perfect for me. But i think this is not allowed to be posted here, because it may be a way to cheat on XBL...dunno because i dont play XBL, so I'm not going to post a link. But thats how you do it!

I have a signer for any hex file signs with original sign
