HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

So I have edited the Dl'ed maps with DotHalo. I transfer the maps back to the folder. When I try to load the map, it says Failed to load map. I have made the encryption signature (or whatever it is, i forgot), and it still doesnt work. Do I just need to change the map in the TDATA folder? Or do I need to edit other files?

You need to re-sign the maps. I believe there are a couple resigner programs around here.

Did you sign the maps to your Xbox, or did you just FTP them over?

Can I use the resigner in DotHalo? I did, and it didnt work. If I cant use that, I can use Encrytomatic right? I tried that too, and it didnt work. Im not sure what I am doing wrong.

The resigner is it's own program. It's not in dothalo.

No, encryptomatic is an entirely different program, although using it is part of the procedures in making your map load correctly. You're just missing a resigner program.

Ok so could you give me a link or tell me where I could get a good resigner program or is that up to me?

Ok I ran my modded map through the resigner, put it on the xbox, and I still get the failed to load map error. Do you have any instant messenger where I could talk to you directly and you could help me?

Ok Ill tell you the steps I take. Open map (terminal) in DotHalo. Go to biped, change spartanmp to jump height 10. Click Fix Encryption, close map. I then go to the resigner. I choose the original map, then the modded. Are you really sure? (yes) Both maps encryption must be fixed normally first. Are they? (yes). So I wait, and I get a triplicate.map.map file out of it. I FTP map to xbox, and it fails to load. What am I doing wrong?

You need a apecial signer JUST For the new maps. I dint know where the link is for is. But its around here somewhere.

The signer I put into the sticky topic up above lets me load the new maps.
