no hud on multiplayer

ok ive seen a bunch of videos (RvB being one of them) and noticed that the person filming has no hud, apart from "press x to enter scarab" and stuff, they seem to have no healthbar, or zoom overaly.
i also noticed in one video that they had no gun!
can somebody please tell me how people do this, i think it has no modding involvd as it was an xbx live video, so...
spill the beans! then clean it up and tell me how, lol.

Well for the no gun one you have to charge your plasma pistol and pick up a skull (make sure you have only one weapon).

hmmn i dont think it has anything to do with mods, as it was just a random video some people decided to make over live, also i dont think RvB use mods, as they would prolly make like some super rocket flying warthog thing and merge it with the storyline lol.
i thought maybe it had something to do with the blind skull??
or maybe when u have no gun, you dont have a hud and u can zoom in? i dunno lol.

Action replay for one go to
http://www.codejunkies.com and you can get a hudless game save there or get lod remover from TF6 (if you cant find that get antmans modding colection thing its in there).

well, people only seem to be telling me mods, so maybe they somehow ued mods on live. i dont know.

They use the Oddball glitch to get rid of the weapon, and then they crop out the sheild and ammo counters.

yea i have now come to the conclusion, that for red vs blue, they have their letterbox, which i now know works since i did it yesturday without mods. and that the xbox live thingy musta been modded, but just b4 the autoban, and since they were like, on their own match, and it wasnt really an advantagable mod, people wudnt post bad feedback about him
i also tried the plasma pistol thingy, works well. fun to play with

RvB does not use Xbox Live to make there machinima(videos). They are a group of people that use system link. They most likely use the skull trick for no gun. And they crop out the rest.

no no no, i was saying that the people who made the other video i had were using xbox live. at least, thats what they were sayin on the thread. but anyways, this topic is basically obsolete now, i know how they did it, and dont need to know anymore

Don't talk about stuff you don't know ( Maybe it'll keep you from embassing yourself.) Listen your all wrong! They don't crop anything they use this hacked gamesave.
Note: You have to have action Reply or be able to FTP things to your xbox.

Do you really think that with there busy sheduale they would bother to crop the backround. When they just could get a gamesave and do there movies great. Watch there movies how can they do such wide open shots and still crop stuff................That's right because they don't!

You, sir are completeley wrong. Cropping a video takes about 5 seconds with Virtual dub. and the cropping (horizontally) created a letterbox-looking effect.
And why is there scedule so busy? making a video is pretty easy and takes a short amount of time.
