ok for a while i was getting a faild to load map error when itryed to play modded maps, then ifound out if you delet the patch and patch lvl3 thingys u could play them, but you couldnt select the modded map urself and had to have someone else do it for you.
My question is how do you mod a map and still be able to select it yourself without failing to load map?

It is possilble, But we cant discuss that kinda thing becouse it can used for cheating

Just put it in the maps folder and rename to some multiplayer map you dont play thats from the disk.

AU=cant cheat w/o getting banned (banned=not on my wishlist)
ok seriously tell me how to do it, i just want to test my mods without having to find some random guy on XBC to select the map for me, is that so much to ask...

OK. I hate Burial Mounds so i change the burial mounds on my HDD in the Maps folder for eg: a Containment that i do like. BUT no one else can play with you unless they also have Burial MOunds as Containment.
