Hey, I liked using the Cache Editor for Halo: CE because it was fun and very easy/convinent. Is there now or ever going to be a Cache Editor, or something that is similar to it, for Halo 2?

Please excuse any stupidity in this post.

sorry, but i have no clue. I have not heard of anything in the making, so even if there was to be, it would not be for a long time.

i dont think there will be one for halo 2, because you cant/dont mod the cache files like with HCE. i loved that for halo 1 though, changeing everything around to get to places like onto pf boarding zone...ahhh the times... :D
If you mod to win on XBL, go F*ck yourself If you mod on XBC, you are my idol

Well I doubted there was going to be a "Cache Editor," but is there anything as simple, for us less...uh...(ok I'll come out and say it) smart?

If that made no sense, what's the easiest way to mod Halo 2 and still have as much fun as we did with the Halo Cache Editor?

Well, it would have to edit the maps itself soooo. I would do it but I dont want to D/L the XDK because... Its illegal And I dont really want to change my current enviroment setup just to use the open xdk.
Awaiting connection...

well what it could do is make a copy of the map you want to mod, and then it would take the copy and move it to a temp folder, and when you are done
you can move it back.
