HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ok, so i am trying to swap projectiles(i dont know if that is the proper term) and every time i try it doesnt work. So heres what I do.
1.)Open Dothalo
2.)Extract rocket projectile meta
3.) Inejct meta into charged plasma pistol
4.)Fix Encrypton
5.)FTP over

i do this and still get the failed to load map error. Help?

go ot thw plasma pistlo weapon tag then find the plasma bolt charged dependencie and swap it with a rocket

The map does not like me. it wont Go though. If possible could i havea detailed tutorial? Sorry you guys have to put up with people like me

Doesn't matter what map it is. Anyway, I have a great video that explains it perfectly. My friend made it, and it can be found right here (sry, rapidshare is all I could get working)

Well, it wouldnt load on a new map like warlock, but it worked on ascension... Could you explain if/how to do it on a new map?

i dont wanna say, you can cheat on live with it

I wanst gonna cheat... it was just the only map loaded on my computer because i w s too lazy

how do you mod the new maps? i have the same problem.

In dot halo open up the weapon you want to mod under the weap/weapons tag then go under the dependancies window and look for proj/projetile tag and swap it with what you want it to shoot out.

Edit: and dont forget to fix encryption and resign
