hacked profile

Hey, I'm just wondering how hard is it to hack player profiles. You know, when you go on halo 2 how it asks you to chose which profile to select. Anyway I remember seeing something for action replay a while ago that got alot of people banned because it was a hacked profile with no reload, infinate ammo, and stuff like that. Well I'm just wondering how do you go about modding the profiles. Obviously im not going to use it on live if i somehow figure out how to make it cause I'll get banned, but I just wanna make it for some friends who don't have modded xbox's or live. Yea I know i could just go download those profiles from wherever, but I want to make one myself. thanks guys for any tips or tutorials.


and yes i did see that sticky on the top, but I'm just wondering. Exactly like it said, im not using it for live cause i dont wanna get banned

You can poke around some possible offsets in the profile also look for some small numbers to overflow.
