ok, i injected a good .dds in with your new plugin, and the wheels didnt change much, so when i just extracted it then, this is what it looked like..
btw, i clear cashe every time i change something, even if it is as small as a projectile swap.

i dont think the problem is the plugin, i think it is the nvidia .dds photoshop plugin... its just a hunch tho.

Nivida has a dds viewer called "WTV"
http://developer.nvidia.com/object/wind ... iewer.html
go and save your DDS and then check with that before injection.
Tell me what happens

Just to make sure, you are using Adobe photo shop right?
If you are not and are using Jasc then you need to install directx 9
Here is teh latest plugin self installer
http://download.nvidia.com/developer/NV ... 9.1500.exe

i am running adobe Photoshop 7.0 (kinda illiegal edition)
and this pc id a gaming machine so it allready had DX9.0c installed on it, but dont use Jasc, im just not a fan of it as i find photoshop is eaisear....
i just installed the new dds plugin link you sent...
testing.....
ok.... there IS a difference, but it isnt for the better.. so i opened it in WTV and i find out that the new nvidia dds plugin for photoshop saved it as a 128x256 image..... i have no clue why, but it is annoying. it also says the file is a 16bit-A8R8 ..... is this correct? cos i thaught bump maps were A8L8?

ok, so over the past 6 days i have been playing around, and i have tried saving as every file type i could in the .dds plugin, and none of them work as a proper bump map, they will either not inject or they will and be all scrambled. so what should i do?
