Increase the size of an explosion?

Post by mariomaster3000 »

Does anyone know a way to increase the size of the actual explosion from a rocket launcher? I know how to increase the damage radius, and make there be a quick flash of light when a rocket explodes, but has anyone found a way to actually increase the size of the explosion itself? What about the area that turns black after the explosion? Is it possible to increase that too, or is that linked to the explosion too?

If anyone knows how to do this, or has done this before, let me know.

For the explosion size id say check the rockets JPT!, as for the black spot im not really sure how it works o.o might be dependant on the size of the explosion.

He stated he knew damage radius, jpt is for damage, screen effects, and vibration.
You should increase the particle size using xzodias effe plugin. Also the decal size isn't hard to edit at all, its measured in world bounds. You can use my effect studio or just a deca meta editor in entity.

Look up Turk645's tutorial on customizing effects. There is a size/scale reflexive you can adjust. Be warned though, a large effect tends to make the game lag.
