Nulling BSP Water Planes
Nulling BSP Water Planes
I lowered the water level on a level, but there is still a splash effect/sound where the water was. I heard that it is a BSP Plane and I would like to know how to get rid of it to get rid of the water effects/sounds. How can I null it?

j/k.
i really don't think you can "null" planes, unless you can move them ...
try spawning a very large parallelepipedal over the water (if you are still doing ice.)

Yes.... that's not actually a word Neodos <_<
But if you want my expert advice... and I know you do... spawn a phmo plane over the water plane (as Zach mentioned: try using the pallet: adjust the phmo), then over that phmo plane put a cinematic matte painting: its just a huge model made up of one face (4 vertex's); you can either "paint" one bitmap over the entire surface (ground shader would work for this flawlessly too), or you could play with the UV's, and have multiple matte paintings, and end up with clear ice... but thats really annoying...
As you can tell I am not huge on the modding part, but I am well versed in skinning :p
Turns out it is a word: parallelepiped: mis-spelt...
