@Ar7ific1al
Well, I'll explain, "placing a mach over them."
A machine is an object within Halo 2 that cannot be moved by player means. Therefore, if you put a large machine within the map, and moved it with a BSP Viewer over the objects that you don't want to be seen, it'd just look like a giant piece of ice. Which, is not rare within Antarctica.
But I understand your desire to do a different map, seeing as using my method, or doing Zanzibar at all would require some unnecessary work.
And also, I can't really help, my modding is put on hold at the moment. I'm focused on other things right now. Plus, there are others who'd be willing to help, who're much more experienced than I am.
I'd recommend trying NotZachary82's idea.

It is expected, and demanded.Tural wrote:MrMurder, we're going to hold you to that promise.

Yes, I know what machs are... lol I might not be that good a modder, but I know what everything is =P Zach's idea is a good one, I've considered it, and now that I think of it.... I don't need to model glaciers! lol the map itself could be a glacier floating in the water =D lol I'd just have to get some good skinning done (nothin hard, to make somethin bright and icy) but then I still have to make it sorta reflective... lol
Sig over height, width, and file size limits. You broke almost every signature image rule we have.

What the hell kind of logic is that? And no, his sig is not 'just as big'. Anubis' sig is well within the allowed dimensions. Yours is not.Ar7ific1al wrote:spec op, if you're going to complain about one person's sig, complain about the others. Anubis's sig is just as big, I don't here you complainin about his.
When I told you to go read the rules I literally meant go read the rules. Halomods has rules for the maximum size of a sig.

What kind of logic? lol It's immoral to complain about something one person does, when there's clearly others around that do the same. That's what kind of logic. And if it makes you happy, I removed my damn siggy, jesus. "Jesus Christ, your sig is too big. Read the rules." a simple "Ar7ific1al, your sig is too big, read the rules" would have been fine. Next time I do something wrong and you go to point it out, I urge you to be more polite, and not make such a big deal.
NOW, back on topic, this is not a forum to discuss the rules or complain about the size of peoples' sigs. @ deadlyxtreme: I know, you suggested a script that would change the vehicles traction when it's in contact with a certain surface. I can not script, as I said before. And since the only scripting experience you have is with the PSP, neither of us can give the idea a shot. Only someone who can script can do such a thing. If you feel that I have not considered your idea, I'm sorry. I have considered it, it's just that I can't get it done.

Anubis' signature was not too large. Yours was. It is not a question of logic. It is a question of facts. You can check your signature dimensions and compare it to his. You will see yours breaks the rules of this forum, and his does not. Logic has nothing to do with it, at all. Stop trying to justify your mistakes by attacking others with no evidence whatsoever, as Anubis said.Ar7ific1al wrote:What kind of logic? lol It's immoral to complain about something one person does, when there's clearly others around that do the same.
