I decided too do this instead. Instead of making tons of threads like i usally do plus if this thread gets replys it may help my cousin too.
Question #1: How Exactly do you use halohacker trainer? And make it so when you flip upside down in a vehicle you don't fall out?
Question #2: How do you make an elite into a grunt in MP and beable too play online without lagging out from it and or other people lagging out from it.
Question #3: How do you transfer a vehicle model into a different mod without lagging out and so that other people online can join without lagging out?
Question #4: How do you make it so that when you're invisible i see you as red or something or as you have Oversheild on?
Question #5: How do i make it so that autoAim can shoot behind me as well?
Question #6: How do i make it so that other people can fly?
Question #7: How do i make a Flying warthog drivable from the sideseat for Non-Modders?
Question #8: How do i make it so that when you board someone you stay on?
Question #9: How do i make a tank fly on non-modders screen and also my screen?
Question #10: How do i make only like 5 spawn points on the map?
Question #11: How do i make it so when you shoot out a flag out of weapon it comes out as whatever color team your on?
Question #12: How do i make it so that when i shoot a smg sword come out of it and hurt you?
Question #13: How do i make it so that when non-modders jump as an elite they jump like there on the moon?
Question #14: How do i make it so that i can Fly a tree on deltatap without lagging out?
Question #15: How do i make it so that non-modders see me driving a bus on headlong but actually i'm driving a warthog or a ghost or a tank or a wraith without lagging out when i join there games or when there in my games?
Question #16: How do i make a vehicle on a map only spawn every like 5 minutes?
Question #17: How do i make it so i can change teams and a non-team changing game [like you know you're on red team already but when you try too change teams there nothing there]?
Question #18: How do i make it so that whatever projectile you shoot out is homing [you know goes after a targer]?
Question #19: How do i make a warthog turretless so that i can see it and so that non-modders can see it?
Question #20: How do i make a game type have like 50 Rounds?

Question #22: How do you make it So that frag gernades stick too someone and blow up after a little while?
Question #23: How do i make it so that when you board someone's vehicle [Like a Warthog, ghost, banshee, or Spectra] they die?
Question #24: How do i make it so that when non-modders hit the ground they go flying up high?
Question #25: How do i make it so that non-modders see me driving a plasma pistol Charged shot, Plasma Gernade, or A rocket launcher bullet?
Question #26: How do i make it so that when you hit people they go flying but when you hit the ground you don't go flying.
Question #27: How exactly Do you duplicate weapons and be able too see them on the map and use them?
Question #28: How do i make a a jackel sheild and make it usable by me and so that other people can join the party still without lagging out in vise-versa?

there is a search button use it and mabey look in the tutorials section. no one is gunn answer all these questions for you, we would be here all day and mabey tomaro. but the point is use the search button and look in the tutorials section. glad to help :D

The topic should be ALOT of questions not a couple lol, and grimdoomer is right, don't ask so many questions at once in one help post, the search button will help alot, and I doubt someone is going to post tuts on most of those in the topic for you if they are already in the tutorials section.

A lot of these questions cover elementary modding tricks. I suggest learning as much as you can, and probably start with DotHalo as your editor because it's user-friendly, if underpowered by today's standard. Dig into the tutorial section and follow as many of those as you can.

Another great way to learn is to find some mods you like, then pick them apart in a map editor and try to figure out how they work.

For transferring things from one map to another, you will want to use a program called Entity.

It looks like you're concerned a lot about system link compatibility (SLC) and how the game plays for non-modders. There are many tutorials about these things, but be advised that non-modders are rather limited in what mods are compatible with them. And wanting compatibility with non-modders smells like cheating on Xbox Live, something that gets a big frowny face here at Halomods.

Here are a few answers to get you started, but your best bet is to dive in and try to learn these things on your own. You'll never get all of these questions answered...



Question #2: How do you make an elite into a grunt in MP and beable too play online without lagging out from it and or other people lagging out from it.

Search Tutorials

Question #3: How do you transfer a vehicle model into a different mod without lagging out and so that other people online can join without lagging out?
Use Entity. In the map that has the vehicle, click the boxes that say Recursive, Parsed and Sounds on the right. Click Save. Open the map that does not have the vehicle, and click Build. Much more detail in the tutorials section.
Question #4: How do you make it so that when you're invisible i see you as red or something or as you have Oversheild on?
Sounds like a shader swap, a very simple trick. Someone asked about this recently in the Q&A thread. I don't know if he got it working, but check there.
Question #5: How do i make it so that autoAim can shoot behind me as well?
People around here HATE A.A., so you might get some heat for asking. It's a cheating mod, and cheating is bad, especially on Live. There are settings in the [weap] tag that determine the A.A. angle and range for each gun. Experiment with those.
Question #6: How do i make it so that other people can fly?
Look for a program called Easy Flying Biped.

Question #10: How do i make only like 5 spawn points on the map?
Use a program by GlitchyGuardian called SpawnPoints. It will list all the spawn points on the map. Let's say there are 100 player spawns on the map. You want 5 spawns, so you have to make 1/5 of all the player spawns the same for each of your desired spawn points. Set the coordinates for spawns 0-19 to the one spawn point, then the coordinates for 20-39 to the next spawn point, 40-59 to the next one, etc.
Question #11: How do i make it so when you shoot out a flag out of weapon it comes out as whatever color team your on?
I doubt this is possible.
Question #12: How do i make it so that when i shoot a smg sword come out of it and hurt you?
Projectile swap. Usually among people's first mods. Weapons that shoot projectiles have a [proj] tag in their dependencies. You simply swap that [proj] to something else. That's probably not a clear enough explanation. Search the tutorials. In the beginning, you will go crazy with projectile swaps.
Question #13: How do i make it so that when non-modders jump as an elite they jump like there on the moon?
In the [bipd] tag, or perhaps the [matg], you can set the biped jump height. I'm not sure if it works for non-modders.

Question #16: How do i make a vehicle on a map only spawn every like 5 minutes?
You may be able to set this in a program called Sav3r, or in the [scnr] tag, in a field called Netgame Equipment. You will have to use Entity for the latter.

I think you're SOL here, sorry.

In the [proj] tag, you can set the Guided Angular Velocity to a higher value than e.g. the needler or plasma pistol overcharged bolt. You'll need Entity for this as well.

Question #20: How do i make a game type have like 50 Rounds?
Sav3r, maybe.
Question #21: How do i inject my own pictures into Gametype names? Use a program called Bitmap Internalizer, or duplicate a picture in Entity in order to make it part of the map you're working on. Then extract the bitmap with Entity, edit it in Photoshop or some other program, then inject the bitmap with Entity.
Question #22: How do you make it So that frag gernades stick too someone and blow up after a little while?
The easiest way would be to duplicate the plasma grenade [proj] (use Entity). Then swap the effects of the plasma grenade detonation with those of the frag grenade detonation (these are in the [effe] tag). The detonation time for the grenades can be set in the [proj] tag.
Question #23: How do i make it so that when you board someone's vehicle [Like a Warthog, ghost, banshee, or Spectra] they die?
I haven't tried this, but there is a damage value (jpt!) for boarding damage. Edit the max and min damage in this jpt tag.
Question #24: How do i make it so that when non-modders hit the ground they go flying up high? Again in the jpt tag, look for a value called "strike melee response." Set the force to 12.

Question #26: How do i make it so that when you hit people they go flying but when you hit the ground you don't go flying.
Very similar to previous answer, but this time change the force of the "strike melee" jpt, not the strike melee response.
Question #27: How exactly Do you duplicate weapons and be able too see them on the map and use them? Use Entity. For non-modders, you can also swap a gun's projectile with your new guns, so you shoot them onto the map at gametime.
Question #28: How do i make a a jackel sheild and make it usable by me and so that other people can join the party still without lagging out in vise-versa? Tutorials

I usually always use search but i usually never find anything so after searching 15 of them i said forget this and posted this whole batch of questions lol [knowing me though i probably just searched wrong lol]

And thanks for answering some of the questions captain......poop...face...
Even though not many helped me but thanks anyways ^^

And i only posted all of these questions cause people usually get mad at me for asking some many questions one at a time -.-;;

that is why you post one question then wait for replys try out what ever you sked then once it is done experiment with it try diffrent things then ask another question. then soon you will be able to figure stuff out by yourself.

question 6) they cant unless they have the same map file as you.

question 7)you cant for none modders but you can make it fly by checking the banshe box in dothalo under the vehcl tag.

question 9) they will see you fly but they cant fly it look at question 7.

question 11) scripting and a lot of it

question 12) you cant make it hurt you but you can change the prol tag to weap energy sword.

i figured out how too do 7 and 13 and yes they both work.

and for number 6 it's possible i seen it before >.> i used it before too when i wasn't a modder.
