I used my MS paint to change the skin on my vehicles and it showed as changed, but when I go to play the game it is normal. What is the problem?
How do I get the shared.map bitmaps into my modded map?

That bitmap is stored in the shared.map, so youll have to delete your cache for the shared map to be copied over again.
A much easier way would be to internalise the bitmap, in other words copy the bitmap from the shared map into your modded map. This way you wont have to delete your cache everytime you change the bitmap.

It's a map of it's own. It's basically a file that all the mp maps use to borrow resources from. So what you want to do is grab shared.map, single player shared.map, the main menu.map, and your mp map all in the same folder. Then use the bitmap internalizer and internalize any bitmaps you would like. I believe the program tells where the bitmap is actually located if you click on it. So internalize the bitmap. Then you can edit away without the worry of editing the actual bitmap stored in your shared folders. Make sure to resign the map and either save the bitmap with mip maps or use the H2 Machinima Companion.killarzachary wrote:How do I get the shared.map bitmaps into my modded map?
