Ok you're massively confused oviosly. What Xbox Connect and Xlink kai are are system link tunnelers. What I mean by that is that they route the data packets that you xbox send to other xboxs over system link to the internet. So your xbox thinks its running a system link game, so naturally you goto system link when trying to play kai/XBC.
Also Look in the kai FAQ at the Xlink Kai website for more info.
But you have to make an account for the service kinda like you have to make an account here to use the forums.

um i click join game and it says ( above is a list of adapters that will be serched for a game consol uncheck any adapters that u dont want serched) there r no adaptors to be found on there. um all i did was install xbc 5.1 and type in my pass and email and nick ext. then i clicked a game and clicked join and it brought the message up. do i need the disk in or can i play without the disk in sence the game is already on there. um also here is a new question, the origanal dash the ms dash is not there anymore. i forgot to back it up when i put the hacked dash up. how can i fix this. if i can will it take a while and would i be able to update xbl so i can play. im really confused by all this and i really need help.

For your dash problem we cannot talk about that here goto www.xbox-scene,com for that junk. I still recomend kai, its simply better.
