How Can I Make Weapon Shoot Dead Bodies?

How Can I Make Weapon Shoot Dead Bodies?

I know how to change weapon projectiles and stuff. But how can I make a gun shoot dead Master Chiefs? Which tag are they in. I've tried the biped tag, but that shoots normal 'living' MCs, I changed it to the MC hlmt, but then it just froze. Can someone help? Thanks!

you could make your gun shoot two projectiles, one being the MC and the other being the one to kill him once he spawns

The only things you can spawn through ITMC or gun are:

Scen
Bloc
Mach
Proj
Eqip
Bipd
Weap
Vehi

Let me know if I forgot anything..
Oh, and to answer your question, I don't know. I've never even tried doing that. I've always figured that the grunt/jackal scenery tags in SP maps were dead bodies, but I've never tried.

u know how when ur playng a game of tower o power
and the floor is covered in dead bodies but they disapear
how do u make them stay?

I know it can be done, I've never seen it done, but I'm pretty sure, I need to try it. When MC is running around and doing stuff, and you're controlling him, that's the biped, you're controlling the biped, the 'living' thing. And when MC dies, it is something els, not in the biped tag, I just want to know what it might be and try to spawn it. I want to know what tag the 'dead' MC is in, if anyone could help. Thanks.

The "dead" Mc is just the Mc biped running the animation in Mc Jmad for death.

actually a dead bipd has no animations, it only has the rag doll body, it only does animations when blown into the air. You can make a dummy that looks like a dead spartan by swaping a bloc's hlmt to the masterchief though.

i was able to make a mod where u throw a grenade and its a dead body stuck with a grenade???? and then i made a gun shoot out that grenade and it would shoot the dead mc stuck with a grenade?????(but he still exploded) it was kinda kool i probably shouldve kept it and made it so that the grenade didnt explode

i am happy to tell you how to do this, duplicate the vehi called something like wrath miniturret and change it's hlmt to the mc's or to a biped you took from another map and then change the proj of the weapon you want to shoot out the dead biped. Since its a vehicle it will just lie there dead and have the physics of a dead body. Have fun.
edit*it acually doesn't matter what vehicle you use but some other stuff may be spawned if you use another vehicle. Like if you spawn it as the warthog and change it's horn to a needler, the "dead body" will spawn with a needler stuck in it. Not the best idea.*

You really wouldn't need to duplicate the wraith miniturret. Just use the one that's already there. It doesn't get used in MP, so you won't really be messing anything up, and this way you'll have one less thing to reference for syslink.
The funny thing about spawning a vehi with mc's hlmt is he'll actually be alive as he lays there and you can actually kill him and he'll groan.
