Noob Modder Questions...

I just modded my xbox today, and downloaded dotHalo and h2x.

In dothalo when I go to [matg] tag to make the masterchief run fast, my pc freezes and wont "load plugin". Anyone know what is wrong?

Where to I put mods(.ppf's . .. other people's mods)?
