problem with ftp need help bad!!!

ok ive softmoded befour and i really cant remember what i did ive looked up every tut i can find and none help

ive done the network settings on my comp and on my box and when i try to ftp it says

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

WTF please someone help me fix this

yes and im useing smart ftp

snd my box wont let me connect to live now eather can someone gimme a link to a tut that shows hot to mod it and how to ftp i just cant remember

ok im useing flash fxp and i tried ftping and it still didint work i think im not setting up the network to my xbox right i dont know if i did it or not.

idk if one of them is to my xbox or not but if not some one tell me how to make one that is

i had this problem for a while. go to your softmodded dashboard and go to setting then go to network and make sure it is set to dhcp not static and also there might be a setting for auto-detect make sure that is yes

sometimes it helps if your xboxs ip is close to your pcs ip.
