Insolence and the Pelican..

I recently acquired this program in hopes of achieving what it is supposedly famous for.. Using the maps deltaapproach and ascension: I am trying to import the Pelican Dropship into ascension for piloting.

I have done as every tutorial says and "dragged and dropped" the pelican vehi object into ascension from deltaapproach, but the only thing that happens is a popup comes up that says

"moving objects/vehicles/pelican/bitmaps/pelican.bitm", and nothing happens after that.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, and I've tried to diagnose the problem myself with no success.. Could someone please tell me what I need to do to make this injection work?

exit the program (insolence) erase the source map (the one you are taking the plane from and get a fresh copy of it and put it in a new directory like just in my documents then reopen the "program" and try again also would recommend restarting your computer that helps me sometimes
