Help with HUD editing.....

i am editing the HUD with Entity 1.6 but whrn i try to move the shield bar to the top and move other things around it gets all screwed up i noticed things in the meta editor like:
what are all these for? all i know when i move the HUD items around like the shield bar i tell Entity to place it on the TOP LEFT it is NOT visable in game can any one tell me what these settings are for[/url]
