HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Playing Halo 2 on Xbox 360 is great. The graphics seem more colorful and crisper than the Xbox 1 on my SDTV. However, I recently got a Widescreen Samsung LCD and connected my 360 to it via a VGA cable. Everything looks great on it. I love the display. Then when I put Halo 2 in, it just looks plain ugly. Colors seem a bit washed out and the edges are not smooth. I'm not sure how to describe it but the edges look like crap. I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and if there is a way to fix it. Thanks

What settings do you have set in the system/video blade? There's a bunch of options that are added when you connect a VGA cable. Make sure it's set to widescreen, and try to set to the highest setting that works on the monitor. Then fiddle around with the monitor's controls until it looks right.
