Is their such thing as the scarab gun?

I read somewhere that in metropolis theirs a handheld
scarab gun and it looks similiar to the plasma rifle

does anyone know if this is true? i heard that u get to it by
doing somethin with a banshee and a tunnel, and if it is true
does anyone know where i can find the scarab guns tag in entity?

Yes it does exist. You can get it. I believe the map you would be looking for would be the second mombasa map...new_mombasa something.

i found the tag under weap
it says "scarab_gun_handheld"

but i saved it then built it into another map and it didnt work

EDIT:Outskirts has the handheld scarab gun tag as well

because the handheld scarab gun is pretty much the same as the real scrab main gun and there is a scarab on outskirts aka 03a_old_mombasa

The reason why the Scarab gun is in Outskirts or the *Insert outskirts map name here* is because they did not program the scarab to shoot the warthog that comes flying in from the hole in the tunnel. If you use Xbox7887's trainer, just use the Dev cam to go outside of the tunnel where the hog comes in, and spawn Master Chief above the hole. You will see the Scarab gun shooting the Scarab blast as the Scarab keeps walking.

About New Mombasa or the level where you start on the bridge, it is in that level twice aswell. On the dual bridges above (Way up in the sky where you can get it if you manage to bring a banshee out of the tunnel or cheat with Trainers), and when the Scarab shoots as it comes around the corner to blow up the Scorpion Tank.

it does exist and you CAN dual wield it without any modding or anything, but it is very hard.

when you go through metropolis tunnel, you need to do the warthog sword lunge trick out of the warthog and through the beam made by the scarab, the first of the scarab guns is floating there.

the second one requires you to lure a banshee through the whole of the tunnel and fly up to the top of the giant beam that goes between 2 of the really high buildings

An easier way is just to mod the campaign map to make your bipd fly, go through the tunnel, and then fly once you get to the correct position. It's pretty funny going through levels and exploring them that way. You can find lots of weird things considering you may be skipping some in-game triggers.
