Halo 2 glithes removed upon upgrading.....

Will the Halo 2 upgrade found in Halo 2 multiplayer map pack remove cool multiplayer glicthes? I noticed it one or 2 glitches removed after the map pack upgrade installed (the sword ones).

if you mean like super jumps then no, those are all still there but rocket flying and the other sword ones are gone

I does remove a lot of glitches.

It appears that it does not remove Single Player glithches, such as the unlimited sword battery.

Not Single player, but Multiplayer. I can still to the long range sword lunge in single player.

It also fixed the standby glitch (people would hit the "Stand By" button on their modem, everyone else would go to a blue screen, and the person would kill everyone then hit the "Stand By button" again. When the game resumed everyone would be dead and then would respawn. That was a good way to get Banned!). Fixing this also removed the only way I have ever seen to getting out of Midship (completely). It's on HIH somewhere.

Actually it does remove the Rocket Sword Lunge in Campaign.

not for me...............mine was like that for a while but now the glitches are workin' fine...............and yes i did get the map pack but its workin now

Ya. I just tried it in campaine mod a few minutes ago and got it to work. I use the 1.1 update from the Halo 2 Multipalyer Map Pack because it is best for modding.

Yes. There is like a 1.1a or 1.1b or even a 1.2 I think. If you get it from xbl it is a higher one. But it does not change the 1.1 in the corner even though it has been updated.

You can only get the Newest update from xbl. The good update for modding is the 1.1 from the Multiplayer Map Pack disk.

A while back (some time if February) I went on just before I got my bigger HD and before my account ran out (the reason I got a bigger HD) and I only had the 1.1 update from the disk. It told me that I needed to update my Halo 2 so I did. Afer I got a bigger HD I got Mimesis and none of the maps worked. I found out that it was because of the newest update. You can find info on it on the Mimesis web site. Try deleting your update. If you have a modded Xbox and a file explorer go to C:\TDATA\4d530064\ and delete the $u folder then reinstall the 1.1 update from the Multiplayer Map Pack. Get on xbl (w/o modded stuff, BIOS, a bigger HD, and use the disk, so you don't get banned) and see if it updates it.

Delete all halo stuff from hard drive.. plug it back in

DL updates... and download maps off. XBL

If u dont have live.... then too bad

i am pretty sure by now everyone is able to beat H2 on ledgendary in under 2 hours.

and its not that jard to make ur game types..
