Ok so For a long time now me and my friends have played halo 2 and when ever somebody uses the plasma pistol and any other weapon in a combo its considered a NOOB COMBO. Why ? thats what i ask to myself why is it called the noob combo the way i look at it is useing it is the fastest way to get kills and the easyest therefore would that not be considered to be useing the best strategy to your advantage ???. The only reason its even called the noob combo is because when ppl are killed by it the get mad and call the person useing the combo a noob which is the gaming culture is the highest form of insult so the weapon combo is deamed a noob combo because of the ppl using it, after they have been called noobs from the ppl that are being killed by it. So in my eyes it is not a noob combo it is only useing the best strategy to your advantage in the game. what is your opinion ???

its a noob combo when you use the br and pp. its called that because of the rediculus strength it has. they went alittle nuts with the power of them combined. people call you a nub when you use it becuase its the only way you can kill them. it takes hardly any skill, and any nub can use it. the only time i use it is when the other team is using it, or if we are loosing badly.

i dont really care about the noob combo cuase i can block it so i dont really care about it MUHAHAH!

Yea its not hard to block. It's easiest if you're dual wielding. You just drop one right before the plasma hits you and it hits the gun

i love how noobs say that it takes hardely any skill to use cause them stupid the PP and any combo is not easy to use first you have to get them hit my the PP and its not great u can easyly jump out of the way and hide behind something and it dosent even home that well second even if u manage to hit them with the PP u still have to have a perfect head shot on the guy to kill him, so according to that it takes no skill to get a perfect head shot that weird cause i thought it did take skill (that was sarcausm by the way)

I cant do the noob combo, Im serious I cant freaking do it... I get made fun of because I cant do it, not because I can

It's not a n00b combo, it's just a ridiculously strong combo which is very easy to pull of so people do so.

a big n00b combo is a smg and plasma rifle but personly i love the br with a pp i use it only on elongation because its small

I think the pp is just overpowered in general. Doesn't matter what the other part of the combo is... though, yes, the br is the most annoying. It was better in H1, where it had some tracking, but not near perfect auto--aim. It should be something that can catch you unaware, not something that you have to go to great lengths to dodge or block.
I hadn't heard of blocking by dropping a weapon. I'll have to try that.

wow dude, pros inveneted the noob combo just live with whats in the game, i had to get over the booting when u accidently betray someone so suck it up

You know in all my time playing CE ive never seen the noob combo come up until hypothermia sruck. (This isnt h2 i know but its h2 weapons the BR and PP)

Well, it is flawed. Bungie didn't really look at every aspect of the game.

i dont understand why people are voting no. it is a fact that the term noob combo is refering to the pp br combo. wheither you think it is a noob thing to do is another story. read the ?, is it a noob combo, yes it is.

u can do the same thing with a nade... u throw the nade... and i blows up at there feet.... taking there sheil away... on BR shot and boom there dead...

A. Using a "noob" weapon

True it shouldt be called a noob combo, It is however pretty damn cheap. The Pistols primary fire is completly useless, it cant kill. and the secondary fires tracking ability is ungodly. True you can do thee exact samething with a gernade but the gernade takes more skill because you gotta aim and compensate for the bounce. For the Halo 2 pistol all you gotta do is shoot in the general direction. It was a better weapon in Halo
