has anyone else noticed how the shotguns are like doin some serious trippin since the update came out...i lost like 3 games (thankfully they werent ranked) but i keept shootin people in the face but would always end up getting killed for it

Thats not a problem with shotguns... Its a problem with lag

Just aim a little in front, lead the target slightly ...

And don't always aim for the face, makes no difference with the shotgun if you shoot them in the stomach or the face.

If your not connection host you literally have to be right in front of them to kill, the way I kill quickly is I melee right after I shoot, to do this I recommend either boxer button settings or green thumb, I fell in love with green thumb which moves the melee to the right thumbstick, what used to be the zoom button and moves the zoom to the B button, try it sometime.

I use default, and it works like a charm. I do hate the fact that sometimes when I'm turning I press too hard and click the button. That's why I rather would not have melee in that place.

I use Default too, it's great and same here, jks, shotgun blast then quick melee.

actually i think wen u aim for the chest, wen u shoot the gun moves upward so u would b shooting the head, though i havent play H2 in like a month or so, so i dont know wat has changed or not..

well it knida sucks now because my sister left the halo disk on the floor...wonder if my warrenty is still valid...anyways im postin this like 15 min b4 xbox live gets taken down on the 24th...and there is sooo much lag its not even funny

I noticed that b4 the update i could shoot he shotgun one time in the opponents face, (right in front of them) and he die instantly, After the update, i noticed it wouldnt work anymore, i shot somebody in the test w/ it and they died instantly for me tho....try that to see if that helps, helped me w/ 1 shot kills

i would recomend melee, animation cancel and transfer to blast in the stomach. basically that means press b, x, r really fast. pm me if you don't know how to cancel animation.

xbox live does lag too much!

yeah, lag is the main culprit.

Better Plan:

Melee, -As soon as their shields flash, hit X then fire.

It acts like a cancel, and you can fire instantly after the melee.

Edit: Didnt see that other guys comment, but I see he uses it too.
