Well, technically I'm not selling my mods, therer just for "personal" use.

Anyone, I'm all for that if I buy it, I should be able to do mostly anything to it as long as it dosent bother other "people"

Though case... I think they may be legal, for personal use. You're technically messing around with Microsofts equipment, which may be considered illegal, even though it's YOUR Xbox. Also, mods can't be illegal, alot of people do it and Halomods does let you release your Halo 2 mod.

The thing that IS not supported by us, is Modding on Xbox Live. It's against the rules of us, and Bungie's.

Why on Xbox Live

Why do you guys not support mods on xbox live? Do you mean "Matchmaking"? Beacause I dont play mods on matchmaking, only in custom games with my other modding friends. I dont like modders who are in matchmaking, and think you should just be legit in matchmaking.

I think that it is legal, as long as Bungie doesn't catch you using modding on matchmaking.

Modding your xbox by way of modchip or softmodding is illegal, both here and against microsoft law. Also, talk of tampering with the hard drive is illegal here, outside of explaining that ftp is used to transfer maps in the general sense.

This is subjective, do not mod over XBL. Period. Modding is against microsoft's rules, but modding offline is perfectly fine, in fact we encourage it, if you are offline that means youre not online which is good :D

Bottom line is no illegal talk here, read the rules, and PM me if you have any questions.

I say what they dont know wont hurt them, just as long as you dont go online with it or at least online where it can be played like XBC and Kai. But it is against Xbox rules, so if you mod and need to send it in they cant do anything.

Bungie doesnt care about if you mod, as long as its on Live. Back in halo 1 days, i forget who it was, but some bungie employee posted on HBO about how cool this one mod was.
