On bungie.net every Friday there is an article called the Weekly What's Update, where people ask questions and they get awnsered. Last Friday the WeeklyWhat'sUpdate changed to the Bungie Weekly Update(The Bungie Weekly Update has no "What's" in it, that means that people won't ask questions and Bungie will just give us information). The last time it was a Bungie weekly Update was before Halo 2 came out.

Hmm, I guess we'll just have to wait and see..

Well.... if they say something about halo 3 this friday I'm gonna have to splooge my pants lol

I herd that there will be...
-EVERYTHING will be destroyable (ground, trees,etc.)
-Play as Cortana, Arbiter and MC in campaign
-Playing as cortana will be RTS stlye!(Command troops, Call for drop ships, etc.)
-Custom Mapmaking
-Sweet new spectator mode, move your camera all around the map
-After the game you can REPLAY it, and watch what happend, you can also record whatever you want(killmanjaro, getting ontop of the map,etc)
-MACHINIMA MODE, make your own machinima with the machinima program included in Halo 3

that's what I herd, belive it or not.

I dont believe you can play as cortana, shes too beautiful... Anyway, i have seen a picture of halo 3. Master Chief is holding a jackal shield and also holding a plasma pistol, heres the picture.

I guess it could be. I expected the graphics to look way better. And it doesnt look like a jackel shield that much. Halo 3 should be a more of a comanding game, like republic commando. Who uses that directional pad? Holding down X and the command you want would be pretty cool
