It says so in 343GS's logthingy when you buy the limited edition. And there was no elite visible in the after-credits movie in Halo 1.

343 survived Halo at the end of Halo 1. And the Heretic base isn't on Threshold, it's on the surface of the now destroyed Halo Installation 04. I mean, there can't be Flood on Threshold. No, and I repeat, no Flood has left Halo 04.

The Heretic base IS on Threshold. Besides, Halo 04 no longer has any atmosphere.MasterNeoChief wrote:343 survived Halo at the end of Halo 1. Well technically INSIDE Threshold... it was inside the atmospere, and since gas giants dont really have a surface it cant be ON it.
