Does any1 no when the ps3 is comming out? I just care for Halo3.

PS3 is a good system too... sony is good at it.

This is hard to answer at present - although we would estimate late 2005 / early 2006. This answer is based on the fact that PS2 is still in maturity, and there are a healthy amount of new games currently coming onto the market. As far as a 2004 release goes we don't feel Sony has the want or means to implement PS3 this year, unfortunately.

yes, and i believe that i heard that Xbox 2 will be competeing on releasing before the PS3, but im not sure

PS3 is being released March 2006 i believe. And it is coming out for Xbox and will be remade for Xbox 2.

If Xbox 2 comes out before PS3, why would Halo 3 be being made for Xbox? Doesnt make any sense.

Just get the Xbox 2 and maybe the ps3 will be turned into a puny lil emulator for it. Of course we have to learn how to mod the Xbox 2 first... ps has the cheapest production quality, but some ppl just keep supporting the foreigners.

because M$ owns Bungie, well basically they have a contract, and that contract owns Halo solely for Xbox and now Xbox 2 .

I wasnt asking a question. I was stating that its foolish to make a game such as that for an outdated console, when clearly Xbox 2 is better...

maybe it wont be better, maybe it will be like the psp like the disc drive might pop out wile playing, or it whould break if u dropped it down the stairs(ive dropped my xbox down the stairs, it doesnt really effect it, but not recommended to do it more then once) heck who knows, it might even have a faulty hd that keeps reformatting all your saves, but then again who knows.

The M$ marketing strategy is:

Launch Xbox2 before or with PS3, then give out a "preserved" order for Halo 3 for the first 100,000 or so buyers of the console. That will give Bungie extra time to polish up the game and the PS3 will be cast aside.


P.S. Sony doesn't make horrible consoles. True, they aren't as good as Xbox, but they serve as a simplified development station for Indie developers. Meaning that you can easily run your own games on it LEGALLY without having to resort to extreme measures. For xbox, you need to illegally mod it, or approach M$ with an idea and possibly tech demo. Then wait 6 months while they draft a contract to trick you into selling your brilliant idea to them subconsiously.

Also, Gameqube is the suckiest. It is for children, and is the worst 3rd Generation Console (cellphones included). There are never any ground breaking games released exclusively for the cube. It is incapable of handeling a "Hello World!" program properly (that is the simplest and easiest program to write, used for begginers. Consists of 8 lines of code. Displayes "Hello World" in a console screen.)

Dude do you think M$ would sell that piece of crap if thats how bad it was? No, people would realize it sucks really quick then not tell others to get it, and M$ would not get its money awwww to bad right?

Aww come on guys, gamecube doesn't suck that badly! I still have my gamecube, and it's got some really fun games! I think that the gamecube has the best graphics for any console to date, (n64 comes in 2nd) the graphics are bright and beautiful, not like the ps2, like all ps consoles, the graphics are dark and dingy, which as we all know indicates a crappy render engine. Just look at all the games and consoles behind this, they all looked bad and were prmiitive, and were all VERY dark!

Guys, BTW, don't provoke a flame war over which console is better ok? Just keep it as a discussion.

Well the reason why the gamecube graphics are so much brighter is because the games were meant for little children, if all the games were dark and depressing, you wouldnt want your children to develop manic depression.

CPU Speed:

PS2 - 295 MHz
Gamecube - 485 MHz
Xbox - 733 MHz

GPU Speed:

PS2 - 150 MHz
Gamecube - 162 MHz
Xbox - 250 MHz

I still like the PS2 and the Xbox, and I still hate the Gamecube.

A few months ago i sold my gamecube. Now that i found out they're making a new zelda game, i wish i hadn't. Zelda games are by far the best adventure games.
