How many updates have there been?

Post by The-Guardians »

Can someone give me a list of all the halo 2 updates?

1.0
1.1a
1.1b
1.5

Those are all the ones I have. Am I missing any?

(If anyone asks, I'm adding them to a halo 2 default.xbe selector)

I believe the 1.5 AU is the 5th AU that's came out.

Which means, there were 2 AUs which did not show any version numbers (these fixed some random HD settings, and the coagulation instant-flag capture cheat/glitch), and then 1.1a (it shows as 1.1 in-game, the 'a' I add on to differentiate it from the next AU) which added v3 DLC support and changed the damage amounts of a lot of things in multiplayer, and fixed Rocket+Sword lunge.
Then there was 1.1b, which auto-detects modding on xbox live to give you a quick matchmaking ban, and disables the use of any map on the mainmenu that wasn't put on the menu by Bungie whether you were online or not. Also fixes a glitch on Relic so that you can't use the teleporter when it's closed (before then it was possible to crouch-jump to it, and uncrouch at the right moment, and your legs would get in it and you'd go through).

And last there was 1.5, which added Tombstone and Desolation to the allowed maps list, and let you use non-Bungie menu items when you weren't on Live.
