Another Xlink Kai Question

Ok... so far I have not been able to get Xlink Kai to work with my network set-up, which is:

xbox ethernet cable to router
laptop(xlink kai) wireless to router

I have just recently read that if I get a crossover cable, I can connect my xbox to my laptop ethernet port and install ICS on my laptop and it should work.

The crossover cable I'm planning on buying is http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=3756907

If I buy that cable and do the above do you know if it will work?

Yes, it should work. Both XBConnect and Xlink Kai cannot have the Xbox and PC on seperate types of connections, ie PC on wireless. ICS is pretty easy to set up. Good luck
