Post by turk645 »

Does anyone know of a modeling program that can make halo compatable models? My milkshape trial ran out and 3ds doesnt like obj files.

Wingz 3d will allow you to import obj's and then u could export as .3ds, then inject the .3ds into 3ds max
The maximum signature size is 500x120px at 75kb.

It's actually because when you export a .obj and try to inject it into Halo 2 it won't inject right.
And Turk hope you chose one of the programs I talked to you about on AIM.

Many of the faces in Halo 1 models are inverted. If your lazy. Then you would do it the fast way.
Import, Export as One Group(ReGrouped).
Copy and paste it so you have a back up.
Open one in a program, select all the faces with Ctrl + A and then Invert them. Save the OBJ.
Then Import both in Milkshape(Original and Inverted Faces)
And Export.

If you want. I'll do it for you.

Heres an example of my outcome.
