Pelican Picking up Vehicles?

anyone know how i would enable the pelican to pick up vehicles specifically the human ones if you know post what you know or pm me please

IF u hate this fourmous then way do u view them.
Anywas i benn use my compture skill to figure this out. If u can make the veichle like player by swith there datta strill theni would work :D

stop youre fucking petty argument, back to topic, yea, i dont think its possible because IF you were able to make them able to be picked up, they wouldnt be able to be driven

You can't add actions, can you? Like, "E to pick up vehicle" or "E to drop vehicle". That would be really cool, though. You could drop warthogs on enemy bases.

or. if you aim right, you can land a few hogs ON people.. that wold be scary.. give a whole new meaning to spawn killing..:P:

Ive been wroking on this u got to change the data stream so the veichles tink other veilches are ppl.
tell me what wepond has a 50x scope on it and is pionted right at your head

but then if the vehicles thought that the people were vehicles, then wouldnt that cause the vehicles (being picked up) to go into the passenger seat's?

Um wot why would that help, that'd screw up halo cus if you try and get the hog into the back of the peli then u'd get out and it'd get on the back seat like it were a hog(as in the animal).

apparently you can add an mc seat to the tail section and then script the peli and it will work but i have mac and halo ce is on its way for us so when and if i get this to work ill post how to do it or if we get a halo ce map converter and we get it done ill let you all know but thats why i want to do this tactical insertion of a full hog and ground troops i mean imagine a peli on death isl flying to red from blue base dropping snipers on the top side and then dropping a hog and more troops on ground level it would be the ultimate tactic not to mention the =A'A= clan would benifit from this becuase their the airbone assualt clan it would make a bridge between groups within it

Heh, if you were able to be inside the gunner of the Warthog while it's attatched to the Pelican that would be pretty cool. You would then finally have a gunner for the Pelican.

Well what i thought would work. What you have to do is edit the pelicn modell a bit to have a platform on end and skin it right. Then you have to make an animation of rails coming up al the sides and back of the attachment. Then you make it like the banshee so when the driver gets in the rails come up (like the banshee animation) and the hit model thingy(i forget what its called) has to change too like it does on the banshee. What would be mor eimpressive is if it wasnt the driver's seat that made the animation happen but a seat on the inside so you cna have a drive hover let a hog drive in the some-1 sits down and they can fly away.

it would seem impossible because the 2 collision models intercept when you try to drive it up there plus vehicles cant lay on eachother, kinda stupid tho.... you would have to do what? change the id of the col model so it is recognized like the mc id? i dunno il shut up your way afar of me bye

try comparing the meta of the pelican in silent cartographer. Also, the hog could just be placed on top of the pelican by driving it up onto it since the back end could work as a ramp. Then, you could edit the collision model so that there are sum large dips on the top of the pelican for the worthog wheels to get stuck into and then the hog should stay put.

yeah, now just pull it off. We need to mount a "nuke launcher" out of the back of pelican and have bombing runs.

in campaign mode they drop warthogs, now if gyou can get that to happen, there load them, itd work(yea rite)
