Installing a mod

ok i have downloaded some mods and i have a .rar thingy and all that how do i get in the game and play it i cant find it or any thing a little help would be nice im really new to this whole mod thing

*sigh* well, do u need help applying .ppfs, .dds, .maps, or any ce maps like that or anything. btw
.ppf=mods
.dds=skins
.maps=... maps.
try searchin the tutorials, if that dosent help, just ask me and ill help ya, and also try to use the search buddy.

You need WinRAR to extract the map out of the rar. file. Then you move the extracted mod into your map folder. Make sure you back up all your original maps first.

u need to download winRAR (from google)to extract ur .rar and convert it into a .ppf file. the u need to download a ppf-o-matic(from google). once u have gotten those programs then, u exstract the downloaded .rar file, and copy and paste it into the
ppf-o-matic. next, u get the disired map and put it in the ppf-o-matic and then u apply it. now put it in the folder and enjoy.
